Taster Course (also Part 1 of the Basic Course) approx. 4 hours
Experience the endless beaches of St. Peter-Ording in a special way!

After a short theoretical introduction to safety rules and sailing theory (approx. 30 minutes), we’re off. A support vehicle pulls you on the sailing cart to a prepared, secured practice course on the beach. There, you will practice the first important maneuvers (tack, jibe, and stop) under the guidance of experienced sailing instructors. Often, training on a rectangular course will include tacking and rolling in the first hours.
There are tables and benches available at the practice area for resting, and the support vehicle has drinks on board.

Content: A practical session with integrated theory
The beach sailing carts are available for ages 12 and up, with a height of approx. 1.60 m to 2.00 m and a maximum weight of 110 kg.
Minimum number of participants: 6 (groups are put together by us)
Courses only take place with sufficient participants!
Cost: Taster course including sailing cart (at least 1 cart per 2 participants)

Meeting point: Yacht Club St. Peter-Ording, Strandweg 34 (Köhlbrand crossing)
Cost: 140.00 EUR per person.
