Rendsburg Historical Museum
24768 Rendsburg
The exhibition covers the founding of the town, the fortress expansion under Danish rule, and Rendsburg's NATO and Bundeswehr periods. The north wing of the museum is dedicated to the history of the Kiel Canal. The exhibition covers an area of 800 m² and presents the topics by means of selected objects, paintings and uniforms. There are also five historical city models, which are a trademark and attraction of the museum. By scanning a QR code, the exhibition can also be translated into English and Danish. In other rooms of the Historical Museum there are constantly changing special exhibitions.
