Old city hall
24534 Neumünster
After a few decades, the space was no longer sufficient, so there were several extensions. Today, the town hall stands in the city center on Großflecken and has been a listed building since 1983. The eaves-standing building is integrated into the street layout, but stands out clearly from the surrounding buildings due to its height and rich articulation. The council chamber inside the town hall is bathed in subdued light through stained glass windows. A vaulted plank ceiling above a pointed-arched wooden frieze closes off the hall at the top.
