Country vacations at Janbeck*s means: enjoying peace and quiet on our idyllic farm dating from 1789, sleeping well in modern beds, drinking coffee in the farm garden or picnicking on the nearby beach. Our comfortable rooms invite you to a relaxed, sustainable vacation. In the very north of Germany, just before the Danish border sharp right and then always further towards the Baltic Sea, there lies the beautiful Geltinger Bay. There is no boring flat landscape here but shallow hills, behind which a surprise is always lurking. Low tide and high tide do not exist here, nor do tourist taxes and fancy goods. Our capital is the beautiful landscape, which is almost left to nature. Who appreciates this is just right with us. In every season there is a lot to see: Flocks of birds and wild horses on the Geltinger Birk, fishing villages, the Schlei, Flensburg and Denmark are also not far. Discover one of the most beautiful corners of the North on foot, by bike or boat.
Special features:
Waste separation and conservation of resources is a matter of course for us. We offer you different accommodation units (from rooms to vacation apartments) integrated in an ecological concept with as many cycles as possible: we produce electricity with BHKW and sun, use the water several times and operate our own sewage plant. You can live with us in bright, Scandinavian furnished accommodation units with beds in which even large people feel comfortable.
Place and location:
Our farm is located in Lehbek, a district of Gelting, about 1km from the Geltinger Bay. To the Geltinger Birk it is about 5km and the next beautiful sandy beaches can be reached in 9km. To the bus it is 400m, to Kappeln about 9km and to Flensburg about 30km. From here it would be possible to travel by train. Shopping can be done in Gelting (2km) or Kappeln.
