Gallery 11
Galerie 11, a vibrant centerpiece of culture, has opened its doors to art lovers and creative enthusiasts for over two decades. Originally based in Kellinghusen, it has had a permanent home in Itzehoe's city center since 2013. Founded by Anne-Gret Winkler, the gallery has served as a stage for artists from northern Germany or those with a connection to the region. With constantly changing exhibitions, the gallery remains a place of constant renewal and discovery. When art historian Bettina Winkler-Marxen inherited the gallery, she brought a breath of fresh air to the concept. In addition to the established exhibitions, readings, lectures and workshops now enrich the cultural offering. A special highlight is the twice-monthly spontaneous singing sessions, which welcome anyone who enjoys singing. The gallery is supported by the "Kultur11en", who enrich and promote the cultural life of Galerie 11. A visit to Gallery 11 is an unforgettable experience that invigorates the senses and inspires the mind.
