Erlebnishof Bögelhuus, Weesby
Erlebnishof Bögelhuus in Weesby, not far from the Danish border, is an authentic farm that offers visitors of all ages unique experiences. Here, love of animals, closeness to nature and North Frisian hospitality come together. A variety of animals, including horses, ponies, dogs, cats, goats, chickens, rabbits and a large flock of sheep, live on the farm and look forward to interacting with guests. Especially during the lambing season in summer, when the animals are rearing their young, the farm is a special experience. Hannah, the owner of Erlebnishof Bögelhuus, grew up on a sheep farm herself and has extensive experience in animal education, horse riding and child day care. She offers various activities, including riding lessons and guided tours of the farm, and organizes campfires with stick bread. The farm also has a small café, which is open on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and serves cakes, waffles, ice cream and chips. In the summer months, the café is also open on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 pm and offers a variety of hot dishes. For those who want to stay longer, there is a small campsite with three motorhome pitches that is open all year round. Erlebnishof Bögelhuus is a place where lasting memories are created. It is a perfect place for families and anyone who wants to experience country life up close.
