Carl Maria von Weber Grove (Weberhain)
The Carl Maria von Weber Grove, also known as the Weber Grove, is an impressive tribute to the famous composer Carl Maria von Weber. This monument was erected in 1890 by the Weber Society in Eutin. It consists of a majestic red granite obelisk, crowned by a bust of the composer. A laurel wreath with a golden inscription adorns the front of the monument and underlines the appreciation of Weber's cultural contribution. The design was created by the renowned sculptor Paul Peterich, who won a competition for this project in 1887.
