Lindaunis net boom (tailor's hook)

The Lindaunis net jib, also known as the tailor's hook, is perched on the tip of a headland on the picturesque Lindaunis beach. This place not only offers an idyllic bathing spot for sunny days, but also a unique view of the historic Lindaunis Bridge, through which sailing boats glide every hour. In summer 2018, ten of these net booms were set up along the Schlei and Baltic Sea, serving as both a hammock and a vantage point. They invite you to take a break from everyday life and enjoy nature. Under the motto "consciously hanging out", nature lovers can take advantage of this special recreational opportunity in various places such as Norgaardholz, Geltinger Birk, Kappeln, Winnemark, Damp, Lindaunis, Missunde, Stexwig, Fahrdorf and Schleswig. The design of the net booms is inspired by the shape of historical net booms from seafaring and Viking architecture. Through the use of natural materials and harmonious proportions, they blend gently into their surroundings and form genuine landmarks. A visit to the Lindaunis net boom is an unforgettable experience.
