The NOK embarkation point is easy to reach: it is located at the Burger ferry landing stage on the NOK, from where you turn right onto the lower lane and reach the Vaalermoor pumping station after about 0.5 km. Parking is limited, but available. There are also two huts and bicycle racks on site. There is no toilet directly at the landing stage, but there is one at the ferry landing stage. The NOK landing point is not only an ideal starting and finishing point for paddling tours, but also a perfect place for a rest with a view of the Vaaler Moor and the "big pots" on the NOK. A visit is worthwhile for anyone who appreciates nature and a maritime atmosphere.
