Hans Heinemann Park

This is because the Rendsburg painter, patron of the arts and founder of the cultural association has been involved with the Rendsburg Cultural Circle since 1987 in acquiring the works of art in the sculpture park. Hans Heinemann was born in Rendsburg in 1915. He studied art and worked as an artist. In 1970 he founded the Rendsburg Cultural Circle, in 1990 he received the Culture Prize of the City of Rendsburg and in 1997 the Grand Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. The town park has borne the name Hans-Heinemann-Park since 2003.
