The promenade with its varied gastronomic offer provides variety and pleasure. Bakeries, kiosks, drugstore and supermarket provide beachgoers with all the necessities. Beach showers, public toilets and beach changing rooms are available free of charge at various locations. Lifeguards from the DLRG ensure the safety of beachgoers during the season. The shallow water and many, often large sandbanks make this beach perfect especially for small children. Our beach chair renters have beach chairs in different sizes ready for you. The KinderInsel offers a cheerful program with loving care for children of different ages during the vacation periods.
Action and fun beach
Next to the pier in the white, fine sand, sports-loving vacationers can really let off steam on the beach volleyball court and the beach soccer field. Right next door, there is a bungee trampoline and a trampoline facility. At the Aktiv-Point on the new promenade, a wide range of outdoor sports equipment is available free of charge at any time. During the summer months, free courses and sports sessions are offered several times a week directly on the beach, as well as guided bike tours.
Dog beach
Dogs and their owners can use the south beach for long walks during the off-season from November to March. All year round, the west beach is available for this purpose.
