Every year, over 10 million birds stop over in the UNESCO World Heritage site Wadden Sea to refuel for their long journeys. Some double their weight in just a few weeks. Other birds also use the coast as a breeding area. On this excursion, you will get to know the "Flying Five," five typical bird species in the Wadden Sea, and learn more about the enormous achievements of these fascinating animals on their migratory routes between the Arctic and Africa. Duration: approx. 1.5 hours.
