Your bicycles are well stored in a carport. You are welcome to use the garden when the weather is nice. A barbecue and garden furniture are available.

A natural bathing area on the Eider invites you to take an invigorating dip. You can also experience canoe tours or really relax with stand-up paddling. Anglers will find peace and quiet and an abundance of fish on the Eider and the Kiel Canal (Nord-Ostsee-Kanal). There is a fishing tackle store in the village. Thanks to Breiholz's great location, day trippers have numerous opportunities to discover interesting things. Maritime destinations such as Büsum, Sankt-Peter-Ording or Eckernförde are "right on the doorstep". They invite you to go on mudflat walks, boat trips or culinary delights. Cities such as Kiel, Hamburg or Lübeck are within easy reach and offer numerous excursion options and cultural experiences.
Children are also very welcome guests. Excursions to the Tolkschau or Hansaland amusement parks make children's hearts beat faster. The famous Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg or the indoor playground in the neighboring community are just a fraction of what children can experience here.
