The Haithabu Viking Museum also offers the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the Vikings and immerse yourself in history. A visit to the small Dutch town of Friedrichstadt and the "gray town by the sea" Husum, which are only a 30-minute drive away, is also worthwhile. You can also explore the historic Ochsenweg trail, which is steeped in history and passes close by the motorhome site.
