The modern, appealing ambience forms an extremely successful combination with a varied menu and beverage selection. Take a seat in the parlor, in the winter garden or on the terrace, in the garden with the old apple trees or in the fireplace room with crackling fire and feast. Fish, lamb, shrimp, cabbage are just some of the specialties you can choose from. For many guests, the inn's fried potatoes are also a specialty: "At Gasthof Oldenwöhrden, fried potatoes are half the meal", "You won't find fried potatoes like that anywhere else", "I could eat nothing but fried potatoes - they're so delicious!"."

Because in the inn Oldenwöhrden "SELF-MADE" is still capitalized. The dishes are always freshly prepared on an almost hundred-year-old coal stove. Soups, sauces and desserts are still made according to the old recipes of the senior chef.

Enjoy as dessert the freshly baked apple pie with apples from our own garden and a cup of coffee, which is freshly brewed for you every time - because the Gasthof Oldenwöhrden does not even have a coffee machine... and also the milk for a latte macchiato or cappuccino is foamed by hand.
