The first floor apartment in Langenhals is located just outside the center of Kollmar and offers a quiet starting point for exploring the surrounding area. About 4 km away is the Elbe with the small harbor of Kollmar, easily accessible by bike. There is a sandy beach with a children's playground, a restaurant, an ice cream parlor and various fish stalls and snack bars. Excursion boats leave from the harbor on the Elbe, for example to the surrounding area or to Hamburg.

From the apartment, you can go for walks or bike rides along the Elbe embankment, which offers sweeping views of the Elbe and the shipping traffic. Nature lovers can observe pairs of sea eagles on the Elbe in the surrounding area or visit the two stork nests on the property.

The apartment's location allows for trips to Hamburg in around 45 minutes or to Büsum in around 55 minutes. The Kiel Canal (Nord-Ostsee-Kanal) is about 35 minutes away. Shopping facilities are available in Glückstadt or Elmshorn, while several farm stores offer regional products in the village itself.
