Welcome to your vacation home "Ferienwohnung Fiete" in Bornholt on the Kiel Canal (Nord-Ostsee-Kanal). Bornholt is nestled between meadows and fields, directly on the Kiel Canal (Nord-Ostsee-Kanal) and is the perfect place to switch off from stressful everyday life and enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet that this environment brings with it to the full.
The "Fiete" is a feel-good vacation apartment. With the Kiel Canal (Nord-Ostsee-Kanal) virtually on your doorstep, it offers around 60 square meters of living space and the best conditions for pure relaxation.
There are two bedrooms (one with a single bed and one with a double bed), a bright and friendly living room, a bathroom with shower and a small but well-equipped kitchen.
The south-east facing terrace invites you to linger, perfect also for your furry friend, who can let off steam here to his heart's content. Your dog is also welcome in all our apartments at no extra charge. There is fast fiber optic W-LAN and a lockable bicycle shed with electricity.
Our vacation apartments are also the ideal starting point for day trips to the North and Baltic Sea; to Denmark (approx. 2 hours by car) or to the big cities such as Hamburg, Kiel and/or Lübeck. Shopping facilities are easily and quickly accessible by car in Albersdorf and Hanerau-Hademarschen.

The surroundings of Bornholt also offer short distances to various sights. Just a few kilometers away, the Dithmarschen Stone Age Park in Albersdorf delights families and history buffs and invites them on an exciting journey back in time. Hanerau-Hademarschen, also just a few minutes away by car, is known as the place where the poet Theodor Storm wrote his novella "Der Schimmelreiter".
The next largest towns, Heide and Itzehoe, with their charming shopping streets, offer ideal conditions for a leisurely stroll through the town and/or extensive shopping trips. Heide is also known for having the largest undeveloped market square in Germany. A weekly market is held there every Saturday from 7am to 1pm.
