Farm on the Wadden Sea

Eiderstedt is a peninsula in the district of Nordfriesland with a length of about 30 km and a width of 15 km. The landmark of the peninsula is the lighthouse Westerheversand, which celebrated its 100th birthday this year. In the north of the peninsula the Norderheverkoog was created in the course of land reclamation by embankment.
In 1938 the Clausen family came to the new koog to take over the fields for the upcoming cultivation and to build up their farms.
